CLASSEN-STEUBING RANCH PARK

Classen-Steubing Ranch Park is a nature preserve and recreational park in north San Antonio, where extensive public input was conducted prior to design. Rialto Studio designed, recreation fields, a playground, visitor facilities, and trails. 160 acres of the park have been preserved under the Edwards Aquifer Protection Program. Existing vegetation is also being preserved to separate the sports fields from the adjacent road. Within the park sports fields will be terraced to reduce environmental impact. Trails will vary in surface and will be permeable where appropriate.
