SOUTHLINE

Named after its southern location at Pearl, Southline is a 223-unit multifamily development located along the San Antonio River. Built on top of a parking garage, the landscape and pool design had to be creatively detailed to provide a functional and aesthetic look.

 

The site was previously used as a storage yard for equipment and materials leftover from the historic brewery. Rialto Studio and the design team wanted to repurpose three hot water tanks that were located there and turn them into the focal point of the exterior courtyards. The tanks were cut open, cleaned up, and refurbished to create cabanas with bar top seating and lounge furniture.

The project also includes a 1,900 sf swimming pool, two outdoor kitchens, outdoor fitness lawn, dog park, and 3rd level roof terrace.
